Students in grades K-5 at Blakeney and SGA are paired with individual reading tutors to help improve their reading levels. Tutors are recruited from the community and work with students in school on a weekly basis. Approximately 50 students are served. FutureForce Teen Leadership Middle School, High School and Alternative School students participate in a leadership initiative that promotes positive social values. Youth also attend summer leadership training programs. The three phases of FutureForce are the weekly leadership class, the summer youth leadership training workshops and the step and drama teams. Approximately 65 students are served.
